Welcome to Daytona Beach, FL!
Daytona Beach is only about 25 miles from our house in Florida, so we took a little drive to see it last month when we were there. Daytona Beach is unique in that it is one of the few public beaches that you can drive on. When you find a spot you like, you just pull off to the side and park! : )

Back to the zoo! 6/23
Got to go back to the zoo on my birthday! Here is a few of my favorite pictures. I LOVE the new butterfly exhibit. And the aquarium is always entertaining.

Henry Doorly Zoo

Vortex 2 storm chaser vehicles!
The vortex 2 storm chaser vehicles were in Omaha tonight! We got to see all of them and even meet the driver of the cool tank! Notice how he can put the outriggers down on the tank and then he even has spikes to drive into the ground to keep from being swept up into a tornado. He also told us the tank itself weighs 14,000 lbs. And it can do 100 mph! These are just a few of the 50 pictures I took. : ) You know me!
